He was predeceased by: his parents, David Swanson and Jane Swanson (Stenwall); and his sister Sandy Hackbarth. He is survived by: his wife Carrie; his children, Dave (Heather), Paul (Jan), Tom (Charlotte), Mike (Katie), Dan (Anne), Matthew and Sara; his grandchildren, Samuel, Benjamin, Maxwell, Olive, Violet, Jane and Sam; his stepfather Dilworth Kerr; his former wife Donna; his sisters, Barbara (Tom) and Jill (Jim); his brother-in-law Denny; and his aunt Mary.
Due to Covid-19 restriction, everyone attending is required to wear a mask and practice safe social distancing while inside the funeral home and church.
