It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phyllis Emerson (Spaulding, Illinois), born in Monticello, Kentucky, who passed away on December 7, 2019, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Roark and Dolly Russell Roark; her husband William Dale; and her sister Hazel Barnes. She is survived by: her daughter Virginia "Ginny" Eckhart (Craig) of Spaulding; her grandchildren, Tracy Wofford of Springfield, Zachary Eckhart (Kristen) of Sherman and Jacob Eckhart (Caitlin) of Kellogg, Idaho; her great grandchildren, Pierson Wofford, Addison Wofford, Montgomery Eckhart and Emerson Eckhart; and her brother Eldon Roark (Leah) of Virden.
