He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Owens of Sparta, IL; his son Brian Burns (Pam) of Sparta, IL; his granddaughters, Anita and Abbey Burns; and his siblings, Sherwood Burns of Sparta, IL and Maxine Powell of Tampa, FL.
