With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Terry Willis Gerlach (Sparta, Illinois), born in Pinckneyville, Illinois, who passed away on April 14, 2019 at the age of 62. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Willis Gerlach and Marilyn Gerlach (Marlow); his children, Ryan Gerlach (Andrea) of Murphysboro, Caleb Gerlach (Autumn) of Percy, Marilyn "Micki" Newport (Casey) of Memphis, TN, Heaven Sanderson (Joshua) of Knoxville and William Gerlach (Hayley) of Nashville, TN.; his grandchildren, Nora, Ivy, Arlo, Harper, Elton and Ava Newport; and his nephews, Bryan Hoffmann (Ottilie) and Jared Hoffmann (Stephanie). He was also cherished by his parents; sister.

Memorials are encouraged in lieu of flowers and can be made to the Alzheimer's Association or Hospice of Southern Illinois Blue/West Team.
