He is survived by: his wife Alice Baird of Sparta, IL; his children, Stephen Baird (Rhonda) of Sparta, IL and Tammy Gielow (Robert) of Steeleville, IL; his grandchildren, Joey Baird (Holly) of Mequon, WI, Jill Georger (Keith) of Columbia, IL, Greg Baird (Mallory), Jeff Baird (Michelle) of Sparta, IL and Bradley Gielow (Becky) of Steeleville, IL; his great grandchildren, Melany, Alyssa, Nathan, Elly, Kaylin, Alaina and Griffin; and his siblings-in-law, Reuel Smith of Chester, IL and Mary Ann Heberlie (Robert) of Chester, IL..
