It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sarah Owens of Sparta, Illinois, who passed away on November 1, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Sarah Owens to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Reverend Frank W. and Elsie Tredway (Harris). She is survived by: her former husband Clelan Harrell; her siblings, Hobart, George, Dale Tredway and Frances Howard; her husband Clifford Owens; her children, William Harrell of Tempe, AZ and Belinda Diecker (David) of Marissa, IL.; her grandchildren, Amanda Harrell, Jeffrey Harrell, Ryan Diecker (Suzette), Christina Diecker (John Gerger) and Andrew Diecker (Alison Innes); her great grandchildren, Connor, Madison and Adeline; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Fin and Marlee; and her sister Martha Philips (Bob) of Ocklawaha, FL..

Visitation: Due to COVID-19 restrictions that have been put in place, a private visitation will be held for the family. Funeral: Public graveside services will be held at the Marissa Township Cemetery on Friday, November 6, 2020 at 2:00 p. m. Face masks and social distancing are required.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the Sonshine Corner or Marissa Methodist Church.
