She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Gerlach and Dora Gerlach (Lindwedel); her husband Orval Otto Menke; her siblings, William Gerlach and Alberta Gerlach; and her half-sisters, Marie Gerlach, Louise Gerlach and Olivia "Libby" Gerlach.
She is survived by: her children, Diane Menke Pence (Edward) of St. Charles, MO and Bruce Menke (Terri) of Walsh, IL; her grandchildren, Brandt Pence (Jackie) of Memphis, TN, Christopher Pence (Kathleen) of St. Peters, MO, Robert Pence (Sarah) of Gahanna, OH, Benjamin Menke (Emily Vonder Haar) of Breese, IL and Brayden Menke of Highland, IL; and her great grandchildren, Mara, Emmett, Kaylee and Isabella Pence. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. John Lutheran Church of Sparta or Christ Our Savior Lutheran School in Evansville.
