It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roger R. Hamilton of Sparta, Illinois, who passed away on December 31, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William J. Hamilton and Florence Reid Hamilton; his son-in-law Nate Harvey; and his brother William E. Hamilton. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Hamilton of Sparta; his children, Jo Ellen McGee (Jeff) of St. Louis, MO, James R. Hamilton (Molly) of Sparta and Jay E. Hamilton (Kathy) of Sparta; his grandchildren, Alexis, Jordan, Seth, Sadie, Elise, Issac and Chad; and his great grandchild Jayden.
Memorials may be given to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation or Bethel Reformed Presbyterian Church.
