It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert Finley of Sparta, Illinois, who passed away on December 8, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He is survived by: his wife Jeanne May Finley (Wittenborn); his children, Clay (Jenny), Joel (Ruth), Noah, Sarah (Ben Smith), Hannah and Jonathan; his grandchildren, Eleanor, Anika, Margaret, Katarina, Paige, Matthew, Robert, Esther, Peter, Levi, Ian, Lewis and Titus; his parents, Floyd McKelvey Finley and Minnie Elizabeth Finley (Wilson); his brothers, William "Bill" Finley and Paul Finley; and also Ann Elizabeth Finley.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sparta Reformed Presbyterian Church (1100 N Market St, Sparta, IL 62286). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 10:00 AM.
Memorial donations may be made to Sparta Reformed Presbyterian Church or Hill Prairie Cemetery.
