It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Ervin Blake of Sparta, Illinois, born in De Soto, Missouri, who passed away on September 14, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Truman Ervin and Bertyl Lee Blake (Phelps); and his siblings, Don Forshee, Jimmy Bradford, Brian Bradford and Beverly Carr.
He is survived by: his wife Dianna Blake (Burlison); and his children, Bobby Blake (Ellen) of De Soto, MO, Guy Blake (Lisa) of Sparta, IL, Greg Blake of Red Bud, IL, Linda Blake of Nashville, IL, Michael Parker (Debbie) of Rolla, MO and Kimberly Broshears of Sparta, IL. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
