He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivan Jones and Vancile Glenn Jones; his wife Edith Klausing; and his siblings, Ronald Jones, Ralph Jones and Sharon Richard.

He is survived by: his children, LaDonna Laramore (Danny) of Chester, Rachele Yarborough (Joe) of Woodriver, IL and Ralph Jones (Melinda) of Sparta; his grandchildren, Steve Laramore, Danielle Davis, Beth Hayes, Brandon Yarborough, Kolton Jones, Caleb Yarborough, Abby Yarborough and Sophia Jewel; and his great grandchildren, Jace, Wyatt, Aspen, Gracelyn, Bryton and Logan.
