With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Cavalier of Sparta, Illinois, born in Karnak, Illinois, who passed away on January 19, 2024 at the age of 90. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Richard Cavalier to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Secondo "Frank" Cavalier and Geneva Cavalier (DeWitt); and his siblings, Robert, Ronald and Catherine.
He is survived by: his friend Doris McSmith; his children, Frank, Gregory Cavalier and Jackie Clark; his wife Doris; and his children, Richard (Theresa) of Swansea, Thomas (Mary) of Glen Carbon, Michael (Emilie) of Sparta, Jeffrey of Sparta and Gena Hyatt (Todd) of Spring Hill, KS.. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to IMPACK Outreach Center in Sparta.
