With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rhonda Gale McConachie of Sparta, Illinois, born in Heber Springs, Arkansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 23, 2024 at the age of 62. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Gilmer and Carolyn; her brothers, Charles "Chuck" Gilmer and Dustin Diercks; and her son-in-law David Melvin.
She is survived by: her children, Nick McConachie (Courtney) of Willisville, IL, Kendra Melvin of Steeleville, IL and Megan Hall of Belleville, IL; her grandchildren, Abigail McConachie, Elizabeth McConachie, Olivia McConachie, Malachi Melvin, Josiah Melvin, Eleanor Melvin and Kayan Rowell; and her brothers, Christopher Gilmer of Heber Springs, AR and Ricky Diercks of Port Lavaca, TX..
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Heil-Schuessler & Sinn Funeral Home (111 W Main St, Sparta, IL 62286). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
