She was predeceased by: her parents, James Floyd Newbern and Willie Mable Anderson Newbern; her son Kendal R. Dozier; and her brother-in-law Henry L Wilson, Sr.. She is survived by: her grandson Christopher Robert Taylor; and her nieces and nephews, Terrace Lynette Jalivay (Glenn), Leila Thelen, Keena Small (Greg), Marci Sheppard (Tim), Jevonda Ward, Bevey Louden, Carmen Bodle (Lloyd), Angela Wilson, Marcus Wilson, Sr., Henry Wilson, Jr. (Dara), Pastor Juanez D. Wilson, Sr. (Danyel), Corey Wilson, Jaime Wilson and Keevin Wilson. She is also survived by great-nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.
