She was predeceased by: her husband Jack Carter, Sr.; her parents, William Hutson and Dorothy Hutson; and her siblings, Judy Wright, Barb Smith and Billy Hutson.
She is survived by: her children, Tina Poole (Gregory) of Mount Vernon, OH, Amy Carter of Sparta, IL, Jami Colston (Kevin) of Shiloh Hill, IL and Jack Carter, Jr. (Angela) of Baldwin, IL; her grandchildren, Ethan Poole (Danielle), Mallory Poole, Sawyer Poole, Austin Carter, Anthony Carter and Andrew Carter; and her siblings, Lois Kelley of West Frankfort, IL, Carol Wright (Curtis) of Christopher, IL and John Hutson (Donna) of West Frankfurt, IL. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Heil-Schuessler & Sinn Funeral Home (111 W Main St, Sparta, IL 62286). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
