He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Gerlach and Pearl Gerlach (Tucker); his siblings, Roger Gerlach, Lester Tucker, Betty Gerlach and Norma Jean Wise; and his brothers-in-law, Bruce Tabor and Paul Clayton.
He is survived by: his sisters, Lucy Clayton of Sparta, IL, Irene Tabor (Danny Smith) of Marissa, IL and Della Myers (Marvin) of Percy, IL; his nieces, Shawnee Fortner (Sean Clark) of Nashville, IL, Jenn Brown (Scott) of Smithton, IL and Talesha Brooks of Desoto, IL; and his nephew Logan Tabor of Cantonment, FL. He is also survived by Great Nieces, Nephews, Cousins.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Special Olympics or St. John Lutheran Church in Sparta.
