He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Stuart and Greta Stuart (Billings); his sister Eleanor; and his close friends, Dixie and Jim Prediger.
He is survived by: his wife Maida E. Lovell of Sparta, IL; his children, Mistee Ann Ray of Marion, IL, Travis Wade Stuart of Marion, IL and Kenneth Scot Stuart of Murphysboro, IL; his grandchildren, Alexis Turner, Taylor Mapps, Genasis Stuart and Sophia Stuart; his great grandchildren, Ann Marie Mapps and Madalyn Grace Mapps; and his sister Marilyn Martin of Tamms, IL..
