Joan Gentry Obituary

We are sad to announce that on January 5, 2022, at the age of 85, Joan Gentry of Sparta, Illinois, born in Tilden, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband James M. Gentry; her parents, Ralph Firestone and Eva Firestone (Hill); her son Michael Gentry; and her brothers, Charles "Sonny" Firestone and Jimmie Dale.

She is survived by: her children, Debi Klausing (Gary) of Sparta, IL, James "Spinner" Gentry (Gina) of Sparta, IL, Lisa Gentry of Sparta, IL, Cindy Westerman of Sparta, IL and Laurie Westerman (Neil) of Sparta, IL; and her sister Jean Murphy of St. Louis, MO.. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren.
