He was predeceased by: his parents, Charley J. Perkins and Mary May Goldsmith Perkins. He is survived by: his wife Alice Perkins of Sparta; his children, Patty Kenney (James) of St. Louis, MO, Jimmy Perkins of St. Louis, MO, Charles Perkins (JoLeah) of St. Louis, MO and John Perkins (Kristen) of Madison, WI; his grandchildren, Margaret "Maggie" Perkins, Patrick Kenney, Campbell Kenney, Henry Perkins and Leo Perkins; and his siblings-in-law, Bert Gibson, Sr. of Sparta and Cleta Gibson of Sparta.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, private graveside services will be held at Union Cemetery, Sparta, with Rev. Steve Duncan officiating.
Memorials may be given to Leukemia/Lymphoma Society.
