He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack L. Smith and Jean Smith (Uhe). He is survived by: his son Zachery Smith of Marion, IL; his grandchildren, Audry, Ella, Jonas, Jack and Riley; his siblings, Brian Smith of Palm Harbor, FL and Barbara Peebels (Dean) of Xenia, OH; his uncle Richard; and his aunt Judy Smith of Oklahoma. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be directed to "Finding Forever Animal Rescue.".
