It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Henry W. Hartmann Jr. (Sparta, Illinois), who passed away on February 6, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Hartmann and Hilda Laufer Hartmann; and his granddaughter Sarah Hartmann. He is survived by: his wife Marsha Sue Hartmann of Sparta; his children, Amy Beckley (Jeff) of Dyersburg, TN, Kent Hartmann (Sharon) of Centralia, IL and Tad Hartmann (Lauri) of Sparta; his grandchildren, Heather Brooks, Holly Powers, Courtney Beckley, Bredesen Hartmann, Katie Hartmann, Alison Hartmann, Brenna Hartmann and Colin Hartmann; and his great grandchildren, Lauson Powers, Kendall Brooks and Hadley Brooks.
Memorials may be given to Maple Creek Hospice, St. John Lutheran Church, or Randolph County Humane Society.
