He is survived by: his wife Melba Runge; his daughter Melba Bierman of Sparta; his granddaughter Shelby Lee Asselmeier (Eric) of Sparta; his stepdaughter Erica Leeann Asselmeier (Greg Adams) of Sparta; his goddaughter Barbara Mollet (Michael) of Prairie; his stepgranddaughter Nancy Bierman Wilds of Honolulu Hawaii; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Alex Mollet, Bradley Mollet and Amie Bockhorn; his brother Orville William Bierman of Jacksonville; and his sister-in-law Carolyn Voss (Randall) of Red Bud.
Memorials may be made to the St. John's Lutheran Church Cemetery Fund, or the Trico Band Booster.
