We are sad to announce that on January 3, 2020, at the age of 89, Frances Ekes (Sparta, Illinois), born in Oxford, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fulton Ayles and Margaret Ayles (Wells). She is survived by: her husband Melvin Mark Ekes; her daughters, Margaret Richter of Sparta, Frances Thompson (Dewey) of Sparta and Elizabeth Nortin (Kurt) of Red Bud; her siblings, Martha Denton of Oxford, Mississippi., Robert Ayles of Oxford, Mississippi., Thomas Ayles of Oxford, Mississippi. and Harry Ayles of Oxford, Mississippi.; and her stepson Walter Mark Ekes (Patricia) of Columbus. She is also survived by Grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many dear friends.
Memorial Contributions may be made to New Palestine Methodist Church or the Human Service Center in Red Bud, IL.
