He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Carlene Misselhorn (Petty); his parents, August Misselhorn and Marie Misselhorn (Draves); his sister Norma Condon; his children, Carol Smith (Sonny) of Coulterville, IL, David Lee Misselhorn (Sheila) of Dupo, IL and Bob Misselhorn (Martha) of Coulterville, IL.; his grandchildren, Lori Rettinger, Paul Misselhorn, Paige Misselhorn, Jenny McDowell (Seth) and Megan Timmermann (Matt); his great grandchildren, Ashley Davis, Lucy McDowell, Letty McDowell, Alexa Timmermann and Cody Timmermann; and his great great grandchildren, Mylee Garlich and Gannon Davis.

Funeral: Due to restrictions that are in place during the COVID-19 outbreak, a private service will be held for the family.
