She was predeceased by: her parents, Roland and Iva; her husband James E. Douglas; her stepfather Harvey Gillespie; her sons, Paul and James, Sr.; her grandson James, Jr.; and her siblings, Alan, Ralph Schenke, Harvey Gillespie Jr. and Shirley Schenke.
She is survived by: her daughter Donna Wilkerson of Marissa, IL; her daughters-in-law, Rona Douglas of Steeleville, IL, Rosemary Douglas of Kansas and Melanie Kellerman of Tamaroa, IL; her grandchildren, Jeffery Gimber, Kathy Patterson (Christopher), Karen Baker (Brady), Jamie Hamon (Jimmy), Whitney Schoenbeck (Brock), Ryan Douglas, Emily Wilkerson and Sheri Douglas; her great grandchildren, Kamryn Patterson, Zachary Patterson, Cadin Patterson (Shelby), Emilee Kumke (Johnathon), Siobhan Baker, Mavis Baker, Ian Hudson, Alyssa Hudson (Chris), Kaden Schoenbeck and Oliver Schoenbeck; her great great grandchildren, James Patterson and Emilia Hudson; her sister Lela Neisler (Randy) of Tallahassee, FL; her sisters-in-law, Genevieve Gillespie of Coulterville, IL and Mary Ann Schenke of Tampa, FL; and her niece Tammy Krause (Chris). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM at the Wilson's Funeral Home (509 W Illinois St, Steeleville, IL 62288). A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Paradise Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to Shriners Children's Hospital or St. Jude Children's Hospital and can be mailed to Wilson's Funeral Home, P.O. Box 217, Steeleville, IL 62288.
