He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Conrad Stine and Bertha Stine (Morgan); his wife Janice Stine (Davis) of Sparta; his sons, David L. Stine Jr. of Sparta and Roger E. Stine of Sparta; his stepchildren, Marcus E. Davis of Ellis Grove and Amanda N. Sinnett of Evansville, Illinois.; and his siblings, Jerry Stine (Connie) of Vandalia, Art Stine of Okawville, Glenna Hagler (Richard) of Altamont and Juanita Workman of Vandalia, Illinois..
