He is survived by: his father Gerald Leslie Doolen of Sparta; his siblings, Dina Lynn and Damon Leslie; his stepdaughter Samantha "Sami" Gentry; his siblings, Damon Doolen of Crown Point, Indiana and Dina Doolen (Sue Goldstein) of Tucson, Arizona; his niece Tiffanie Ann Marie Doolen of Nashville, Tennessee; his aunts and uncles, Glenn Doolen of Kinmundy, John Doolen of Mount Prospect, Illinois, Barbara Shanafelt of Granite City, Illinois and Linda Doolen of Los Alamos; and also, Nick, Robbie and Dylan.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to an education fund for Samantha Gentry and her sons.
