It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty D. Buckner of Sparta, Illinois, who passed away on July 20, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Ballard and Phenabelle Ballard (Casteel); and her husband Clifton Buckner. She is survived by: her sons, Scott Buckner (Stacy) of Sparta, IL and Brent Buckner (Melissa) of Phoenix, AZ; and her grandchildren, Trevor, Mallory, Abby, Wyatt and Elle.
