He was predeceased by: his parents, John V. Ratliff and Mary M. Ratliff (Bauer); and his brother Glen. He is survived by: his wife Faye; his children, John R. "Bob" Ratliff (Renee) of Chillicothe, Diane Grebner (Gary) of Metamora and David Ratliff (Ellen Tabor) of Chillicothe; his grandchildren, Wendy Hart, Jeff Ratliff, Kristina Rauh (Stephen), Derek Grebner, Ashlie Ratliff (Sean Art) and Amanda Biggar (Josh); and his sister Marilyn Longman of Henry.
