He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Mooberry and Edith Nighswonger Mooberry; and his brothers, Litner, David Carroll, Alva and Lowell.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Hawksworth; his sons, Chuck Mooberry (Diane), Lacon, John Mooberry (Karan) and Henry; his grandchildren, Jerry Mooberry, Lacon, Bill Mooberry, Roanoke, Tara Parsons, Claremont, Chris Fernandez, Venice, Shelley Shaffer, Sparland, Scott Mooberry and Charleston; and his great grandchildren, Keegan, Kayla, Hunter, Gavin, Layla, Albert, Jeffery, Savanah and Oaklyn.
