He was predeceased by: his parents, Churchill Wood and Beatrice Wood (Crabtree). He is survived by: his wife Cheryle Carmichael; his children, James Wood of Sparland, IL, Angela Vaughn (BJ) of Glasford, IL and Melissa Murphy (Dirk) of Sparland, IL; his grandchildren, Avery, Mya, Ellie and Darren; his children, Kelly Ehringer and Troy Ginger (Marcia); his grandchildren, Bailey, Colin, Brynn and Eli; his siblings-in-law, Charles Carmichael (Brenda) of Hampton, IL, James Carmichael (Pat) of Henry, IL, Steve Carmichael (Noni) of Garfield, AR and Sandi Voss of Chillicothe; and his caregiver Amber Grimes. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and one special niece.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, Easterseals or the Disabled American Veterans.
