We are sad to announce that on April 20, 2018, at the age of 84, James L. Lampson (Sparland, Illinois), born in Kewanee, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his sister Patricia Kear; and his stepfather Donald Hickey. He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, James Lampson (Susan) of Maryland, Kerry Swanson of Sparland, Casey Swanson (Jeremy) of Varna and Patrick Lampson (Kathleen) of Toluca; his siblings, Tom Lampson of Texas and Bonnie Allen; and his friend Mike Geddes. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and six step grandchildren.
