He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Nelson and Hildegard Nelson; and his wife Leslee Ann Nelson. He is survived by: his daughters, Nicole Corneglio (John) of South Wilmington and Marti Bafia (David) of South Wilmington; his grandchildren, Joey Corneglio, Gavin and Marissa Bafia; his daughter Erika Shaver Nelson; his brother Richard (late Linda); his niece Amy Whiteley (Jason); and his nephew Caleb Nelson.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be directed to the South Wilmington Fire Department.
