He is survived by: his daughter Samantha Crater of Morris, IL; his mother Viola Crater of South Wilmington; his brother Donald Crater, Jr. of South Wilmington; his children, Chad Crater (Betsy Elberts) and Carissa Crater (Kyle Miller); his brother Robert Crater (Cheryl) of South Wimington; his nieces and nephews, Christina Ashburn (Jason) and Benjamin Crater (Megan); his great-nephews, Hunter, Peyton Welsh and Brayden Crater; and his close friend Ray Sinkular.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in his name may be directed to the family to be dispersed to his favorite charities.
