He was predeceased by: his father William "Bill" Sparks. He is survived by: his mother Josie Sparks (Fischer) of Wood River; his wife Sonja Krotz; his sons, Christopher Moore, Devin Moore and Austin Moore; and his sister Carla Lattimore of Godfrey. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the South Roxana Fire Department to be used for permanent memorial at a later date.
