He was predeceased by: his parents, Rollo Johnson and Grace Johnson (Wilson); his son Thomas Johnson; his grandson Scott Johnson (LaVerne Buster); and his siblings, Lois Payne, Mae Ackerson, Fern Winter, Lucille Shouse, Robert Johnson, Bill Johnson and Louis Johnson.
He is survived by: his former wife Janice Schultz; his daughters, Tammy (Charlie Coffey), Judy (Jimmy Cooper) and Beverly West of Rosewood Heights; his grandchildren, Sara Rosen, Lindsey Hammond, Zachary Johnson and Nicholas West; and his siblings, Mary Ellen Fortag of Normal, Marion Johnson of Normal and Frank Johnson of Wisconsin. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
Memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association and will be accepted at the funeral home.
