Charles Louis Meyer Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 14, 2024, at the age of 87, Charles Louis Meyer of South Roxana, Illinois passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Charles Louis Meyer to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Matthew Mark Meyer and Mildred E. Meyer (Jones); his wife Judith Rae Welshan; his children, Cheryl Carpenter and Charles Meyer, Jr.; and his siblings, Matthew M. Meyer Jr., David Meyer, Anna Marie Jansen and Eleanor Ruth Ward.
He is survived by: his daughters, Lou Ann McFarlane (Jim) of Godfrey, Jennifer Yates (Kenneth) of Worden and Marsha Edwards (Scott) of Bunker Hill; and his siblings, Thomas Meyer of Clearwater, FL and Jean Marie Brewer of Colby, KS.. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Paynic Home For Funerals (618 E Airline Dr, East Alton, IL 62024). A memorial service was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be given to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
