He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Burden and Evelyn Burden (Hinthorn); his wife Rebecca Burden; his stepson Buck Rogers; his granddaughter Aaliyah Burden; his sister Karen Burden; and his nephew Anothony Metzdorff.
He is survived by: his children, Nicholas Burden of Pekin, Kimberly Gibbs of Pekin and Jesse Burden of Tennessee; his grandchildren, Clayton Gibbs, Aubreigh Gibbs, Cameron Gibbs, Brynn Gilmore and Blaize Burden; his siblings, Larry Burden of Pekin, Kay Wheat of Havana, Karla Hasler of Stanford and Harlan Burden of Mackinaw; and his former wife Susan of Tennessee. He is also survived by 11 step-grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
