He is survived by: his children, Cassandra Bonin (Adam) of Enterprise, Ala., Candace Gilles (Josh) of Peoria, Cameron Summers of Charleston, Connor Summers of Charleston and Carter Summers of Hammond, Ill.; and his siblings, Steve Summers (Robin) of Peoria, Gary Summers (Beth) of Washington and Connie Shepherd (Brian) of Goodfield, Ill.. He is also survived by four grandchildren.
