She was predeceased by: her sons, Doug Darius Nydam (Sandra Nydam Monroe) and David Allen Nydam (Tina); and her sisters, Deanna DeYoung (late Peter) and Regina Keel (late John). She is survived by: her son Mark August Nydam (Lynn); and her grandchildren, Emily Louise Nydam, Katherine Roxanne Nydam, Luke Nydam and Steven August Nydam.
