As Esperanza departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Esperanza may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Esperanza leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her husband Gerald A. Pekny; her brother Andy Rodriguez (Helen); and her parents, Jose Rodriguez and Elisa Rodriguez. She is survived by: her children, Jeffrey Pekny (Maureen), Leslie Pekny, Alan Pekny (Julie) and Gregory Pekny (Jennifer); and her sister Connie Gonzales (Javier).
