He was predeceased by: his son James Van Drunen; his parents, Michael Drunen and Carrie Van Drunen; and his brothers, John Van Drunen (late Laverne) and Kenneth Van Drunen (late Helen).
He is survived by: his girlfriend Betty Van Drunen; and his stepdaughters, Jacqueline Anderson (Eldon), Debra Marcinek, Elizabeth Bennet (Dionigi) and Joan Clark (Arthur).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Smits Funeral Home (2121 Pleasant Springs Ln, Dyer, IN 46311). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 2:30 PM at the Oak Ridge Cemetery (1966 Thornton Lansing Rd, Lansing, IL 60438).
