She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesus Martinez and Manuela Guajardo; her husband Agapito Romero II; her stepson Mario Romero; and her siblings, Hilda Brandt, Anna Loza, Blanca Aviles and Jesus Martinez, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Agapito Romero III of Texas, Emma Romero of Texas, Sylvia Martinez of Del Rio, TX, Diana Muñoz (Geronimo) of Odessa, TX, Esteban Martinez (Tina) of Carpentersville, IL and Rolando Romero of Elgin, IL; her grandchildren, Emma Elia, Vanessa, Diamantina, Mario, Ashley, Joseph, David, Alyssa, Isaiah, Mariah, Deziray, Esteban Jr., Christian, Adrien, Julian, Mercedes, Desiree, Francine and Jessica; and her siblings, Jose L. Martinez (Judy) of Del Rio, TX, Arthur Galvez (Linda) of Salinas, CA, Leticia Perez (Ramon) of Marengo, IL, Albino Garcia Jr. (Frances) of Albuquerque, NM and Guadalupe Villa (Jose) of Del Rio, TX.. She is also survived by 22 great-grandchildren.
