He was predeceased by: his father James Hercl (Marge); and his brothers, Danny (Grace), Gary (Lorna) and Paul Hercl (Kimberly). He is survived by: his spouse Kiersty Hercl; his children, Noah and Madison Hercl; his mother Sharon Bostick (late Ken); his parents-in-law, Kari Abdallah and Joe Abdallah (Nancee Ormiston); and his siblings-in-law, Kim and Katie Abdallah. He is also survived by many step-siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the DuPage Funeral Chapel (951 W Washington St, West Chicago, IL 60185). A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.

“Tim referred to me as Mom #2 but called me" Midgie" - a nickname from my parents. One memory I cherish is Dec. 28 of 2001 it was 10 below zero and Tim drove from IL to MI to be at my Mom's funeral. It meant so much to me and my family. My Mom always called Tim "her Teddy bear". He always put family and friends first. His love for his family just oozed out. He will be so missed by so many and I am so thankful for the time we shared with him. Love, Midgie”
