He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Nancy Stumpf (Ken) and Thomas Short (Joyce); his wife Vicki Short; his children, Thomas Short Jr. (Sara Beth), Kyle Short and Taylor Short; his stepson Michael Lendman; his grandchild Lakeson Short; and his siblings, Brian Short, Kelly Alvarado (Junior) and Tracey Yoo (Chris). He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.

Following services cremation will be private at Countryside Crematory. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Journey Care of Barrington for taking such loving care of Tommy in his final days. ** Due to covid-19 restrictions all visitors are asked to pay their respects and move on to allow other the opportunity. All are required to wear masks.
