She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Boyd and Gertrude Boyd (Hoffman); and her husband Dewayne Block. She is survived by: her children, Kimberly Walden (Bradley) and Todd Block (Terri); and her grandchildren, Codi Walden and Samantha Walden. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Laird Funeral Home (310 S State St, Elgin, IL 60123). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
