It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Renate Ostertag Seddon of South Elgin, Illinois, who passed away on September 14, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Albert Steinbuch and Frida Traub; her former husband George Ostertag; her granddaughter Madison Ostertag; her husband Roger Seddon; and her children, Sandra Ostertag-Balentine (David), Michael Ostertag (Nancy), Raquel Ostertag, Linda Schmitt (Garry), Peggy Hall (Matthew), Denise Wilbur (Matthew) and Brian Seddon (Mary). She was also cherished by grandchildren and 5 cherished great-grandchildren.
