It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lawrence J. Rittle Jr. of South Elgin, Illinois, who passed away on July 13, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Patricia J. Rittle; his children, Mark (Karen), Lori Urban, John (Deb) and Matthew (Lynn); his grandchildren, Allison McDade (Sean), Christopher, Sabrina Rittle, Grace, Milan Urban, Mary, Megan and Brian Rittle; his great grandchild Elliott McDade; and his sister Patricia Conway (James).

“I just discovered this. and hope it's the same Larry Rittle I knew at Northwestern University in the late 1950s. We were both engineering students. I especially remember his MG TF1500, a rather rare auto even in those days, and he took such great care and pride in it. I'm sorry I lost touch over the years.
