We are sad to announce that on June 26, 2019, at the age of 76, Karen Jean Ermel (South Elgin, Illinois), born in Elgin, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Helberg and Alberta Helberg; and her husband Paul Sr.. She is survived by: her siblings, Diane Jones (Jean) of Thompsonville, IL and Jim Helberg of Defiance, OH; her children, Tracy Krahn of Elgin, Paul Ermel (Melissa), St Charles and Kim Ermel of Genoa; her nieces, Laura Jones of Elgin and Nicole Raner of New York; and her nephew Jason Jones (Sara) of Marion, IL.. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren.
