She was predeceased by: her father Thomas Jewell Davis; her husband Melvin E. Glisson; her daughter Glenda Jones; and her siblings, Esta Johnson and James Davis.
She is survived by: her daughters, Melody Sanford (Bob) of Mucungie, Gloria Dahlberg (Frank) of Dandridge and Gail Guy (Curt) of Elgin, Illinois. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
